What is the VSME and Why it Matters
The Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME) is a simplified ESG framework tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises not listed on public markets and outside the scope of the ESRS (CSRD). With the CSRD scope recently narrowed under the Omnibus Directive, VSME offers a vital path for SMEs to showcase sustainability performance and gain investor trust.
